SCATTERBOX "Live: The 20th Anniversary Show" (Documentary).

“Scatterbox rips from beginning to end, no apologies and no breaks on the tempo speed. This radioactive thrash blast comes courtesy of the Washington/Idaho border and sounds like a mutated update of Gang Green, Toxic Reasons, and classic Suicidal..” – Fear and Loathing in Long Beach

“They make hard music to play well look easy and sound like they f***ing mean it in the process, which is much, much more than 98 percent of the things you’ll hear this week that’ll work their way into your brain pans. Hardcore the way hardcore was played when it meant something to play it.” – Eugene S. Robinson (Author, Writer for Decibel, Noisey, frontman of Oxbow, Whipping Boy, and Bunuel)

“They know how to write a tune to get your foot stomping and your head banging. I imagine Scatterbox sound even better live and if they venture beyond their usual Midwest haunts, I look forward to catching them on tour.” –Paul J. Comeau (Razorcake)

After seven full-length albums, various EP’s, singles, spots on film soundtracks, several US tours, member changes, and a cavalcade of functional dysfunction, Scatterbox celebrates their 20th year anniversary as a band with a live performance at The Big Dipper in Spokane, Washington. One of a rare breed of long-standing punk rock bands from Northern Idaho (of all places), these Northwest mainstays bring their thrash-laced hardcore punk to their neighboring sister-city with the accompaniment of a full camera crew and live sound engineer to capture the experience in a raw, uncut night of mania. Shot documentary-style, the film features reunion performances with past members, interviews with past and present members, restored long-lost behind the scenes and live tour footage, and much more. The film was directed and shot by veteran director Jason Frost at Black State Productions. His previous work includes a back catalog of music videos for The Accused AD, Capitalist Casualties, Year of the Cobra, and many more. The film will see a street date of November 11, 2022.
